Description
The Scorpion™ Portable Pickleball Set by First Team is a commercial-grade portable pickleball net system designed for players, facilities, and multi-use courts that need true game-quality performance without permanent post installation.
Unlike lightweight portable pickleball nets that can shift, sag, or blow over during play, the Scorpion™ system uses heavy-duty weighted base units with 300 lbs. of pre-installed ballast weight in each base. This provides exceptional stability during net tensioning and game play while eliminating the need for permanent anchors, sleeves, sockets, or surface-mounted posts.
The Scorpion™ is especially useful for tennis courts with pickleball lines, clubs, resorts, schools, parks, and recreational facilities that need to preserve multi-sport court flexibility. Since the system can be rolled into position and removed after play, it allows pickleball to be added without interfering with tennis court use.
Although the base units are weighted for stability, they are designed for one-person transport. Simply tip the upright backward to engage the rolling wheels, then push or pull the unit to the desired playing or storage location. When returned to the upright playing position, the wheels disengage and the base rests securely on its foot pads.
The Scorpion™ system also eliminates the long ground stabilizing bar commonly found on many portable pickleball nets. This creates a cleaner playing area, quicker setup, easier movement, and more compact storage. The base units and net can store in an area approximately 48" x 60".
Each Scorpion™ base includes black safety padding to help protect players from contact with the base. The padding does not need to be removed during transport.
