Description
The First Team Attack™ Adjustable In-Ground Basketball Hoop combines heavy-duty construction, smooth height adjustment, and seven backboard configurations in one versatile basketball system. Built around a substantial 4" square steel post with a 3/16" wall thickness, the Attack is designed for residential courts, schools, recreation facilities, parks, and other demanding outdoor environments.
The EZ-Crank™ adjustment system allows the rim to be positioned anywhere from regulation 10' height down to 5'6". First Team’s Spring Assist mechanism reduces the effort required to raise or lower the goal, while an easy-to-read rim height indicator helps players select the correct setting. The crank is positioned within comfortable reach so adults and younger players can adjust the system more easily.
A 36" extension distance separates the post from the face of the backboard at regulation height, creating additional room beneath the basket. The rim mounts directly to the extension structure through the backboard, helping reduce backboard stress when players make contact with or hang on the rim.
The Attack uses an anchor-bolt installation system rather than permanently burying the entire post. This design allows the installer to level the basketball goal accurately and makes it possible to remove and relocate the pole system later without replacing the complete goal.
Choose from seven configurations featuring acrylic, tempered glass, steel, or aluminum backboards. WHICH ATTACK MODEL IS BEST FOR A PUBLIC PARK?

No. The Attack requires a reinforced concrete footing approximately 20" in diameter and 36" deep. Existing concrete must be cut and excavated where necessary so the specified footing and anchor system can be installed.
CAN THE ATTACK™ BE REMOVED OR RELOCATED?
Yes. The pole attaches to an in-ground anchor system with bolts rather than being permanently buried in concrete. The anchor remains in the footing, but the basketball goal can be unbolted and removed or relocated.
CAN PLAYERS DUNK ON THE ATTACK™ BASKETBALL HOOP?
The direct rim mounting system is designed to reduce stress on the backboard when players make contact with the rim. Select a flex-rim configuration for residential and competitive play, and do not hang excessively from the rim or use the system in a manner inconsistent with First Team’s installation and use instructions.
DOES THE ATTACK™ INCLUDE PADDING?
